In our previous article, we stressed the need for the Borisov government to separate media ownership from companies active in public procurement or public projects. As an example, we quoted Greece which came to the point of undeclared bankruptcy, one of the reasons for which was the failure of the government to disallow companies active in public procurements to be owners of mass media at the same time. The Greek government at the time was not strong enough to enforce proper legislation but the Borisov government is strong enough to do it.
